The Canadian Dream
When two immigrants opened a breakfast restaurant 32 years ago, they
created a space for their customers to feel like family – a
reciprocated sentiment owners Ibrahim ‘Abe’ and Fatima Bazzi welcome
with open arms. Abe immigrated to Canada in 1988, later opening The
Village Kitchen in 1991. The small diner became the beginning of a
lifelong career that neither Abe nor Fatima, were expecting.
